PAIDE LINNAMEESKOND EXECUTIVES DUE IN BANJUL
Executives of partner club Paide Linnameeskond are set to visit The Gambia to further existing ties with Real de Banjul FC.
“Their visit will be great because since our partnership with them started it’s been always great. We look forward to welcoming them to the country and further our relationship with them,” said Real de Banjul president William Abraham.
The officials will also among other engagements scout potentials for their club and they will also watch Scorpions decisive 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Gabon.
The partnership with the Estonian side and Modoustic Sports PR Company has seen two former RDB players move to Paide. Alassana Jatta and Muhammed Sanneh starred for them last season.
“I’m looking forward to visiting the Smiling Coast of West Africa to see the great work that is being done there by Real de Banjul and Modou Lamin Beyai over the recent years.
“Last season, both Alassana and Muhammed were among top players in the Estonian league and we were blessed to have the opportunity to develop them. I hope our visit will further strengthen our relationship with our Gambian brothers,” Jaanus Pruuli, Paide’s CEO, said.
The club known in Estonia as Barcelona competes in the Meistriliiga which is the country’s premier league.
