BY: Media Officer Foday Jatta Real de Banjul is delighted to announce that it has struck a deal with Armenian Premier League side Sevan Football Club for the permanent transfer of attacking duo Ebrima Jatta and Babou Cham. The City Boys duo penned a three-year contract with Sevan, a club located in one of the most popular resorts in Armenia. Sevan secured promotion to the Armenian top-flight last season and will compete in the 10-team league this season.
BY: Media Officer Foday Jatta Real de Banjul beat nine-man Marimoo 2-1 to move second on the table at the weekend with three games of the season to go. Modou Lamin Demba’s header and brave goalkeeper Ebrima Jarju’s penalty earned Bye Malleh Wadda and his charges the valuable three points at the Independence Stadium in Bakau. Bye Malleh saw his side create many goal scoring chances but were only able to edge the nine men of Marimoo 2-1.
BY: Media Officer Foday Jatta Head Coach Bye Malleh Wadda thinks Real de Banjul defended poorly after he saw his side throw away another lead in the draw against the Gambia Ports Authority. Real de Banjul took the lead through left-back Sidiki Jawara’s 32nd-minute penalty after Modou Lamin Demba was hauled down in the GPA box, but GPA pegged back Bye Malleh’s Whites at the 75th minute, to share the spoils. Real de Banjul has now drawn four times and lost two after taking the lead this season.
