Real de Banjul Football Club is delighted to announce a ground-breaking partnership with Estonian giants Paide Linnameeskond. The 12-time Gambian league champions have signed a long-term partnership with the club nicknamed Eesti Barcelona (Estonian Barcelona) with the agreement aimed at developing young players and preparing them for a professional career in Europe. Paide was the club that gave a European chance to former Real de Banjul players in striker Alassana Jatta and defender Muhammed Sanneh who both took the next steps to move to Viborg FF in Denmark and FC Baník Ostrava in Czech Republic respectively.

Jallow had struggled for form and game time this term and even went from bad to worse when he stepped up to miss a penalty against ten-man Tallinding United in the last encounter, before changing his fortunes with a match winning goal at the weekend.

The top brass of Estonian club Paide Linnameeskond are set to be in The Gambia on Friday for a few days working visit. Club President Veiko Veskimäe and CEO Jaanus Pruuli are due in Banjul tomorrow where series of activities have been planned for them.

Real de Banjul can confirm that forwards Ebrima Jatta, Babou Cham and Kebba Sallah have left to travel to Yerevan for trials. The trio left the shores of the country at the weekend, immediately after the goalless draw with Tallinding United, to travel to the landlocked country located in the Armenian Highlands of Western Asia.

BY: Media Officer Foday Jatta When club legend Bye Malleh Wadda returned to Real de Banjul to replace our former coach Ebou Jarra midway through the current season, hopes were sky high with positive expectations but the second tenure of Byes, as fondly called, with the City Boys did not begin with the desired fashion. The team could only manage two points in three games, enduring a frustrating goalless draw in his first game against Banjul United and went on to draw 1-1 with Gamtel FC before losing 2-1 to Elite United, a start that raised eyebrows as people started to ask whether the appointment of the veteran gaffer was the right call in the right direction.
