Real de Banjul FC is delighted to announce the transfer of forward Ebrima Jatta to United Arab Emirates side Al-Ittihad Kalba SC.
The 20-year-old attacker, who was transferred to Armenia side Sevan FC in July 2021, leaves the landlocked country in favour of a move to Kalba where he has now penned a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Ittihad Kalba, who play in the UAE Pro League, secured the services of Jatta from Real de Banjul and he will now look to continue his professional career in the Western Asia country.
“We are happy that Ebrima Jatta can take this next step to move to the UAE where he has now signed for Kalba. The move happened after Sevan FC were kicked out of the Armenian Premier League by their Federation, so it was only wise for us that we could find him another opportunity to continue his career,” President, William Abraham said.
He added: “I think this is a good opportunity for him and we, as a club, wish him nothing but the best in the Emirates.”
Jatta, dubbed Mbowe, will look to get his career with Kalba going when the team hosts Sharjah at the weekend.
Everyone at Real de Banjul wishes Ebrima Jatta all the best of luck with life in the UAE.
