A Kajally Drammeh brace together with both Mustapha Jallow and Adama Saidy scoring a goal apiece was enough to earn Real de Banjul a resounding 4-0 victory over Senegalese club Casa Sports in Ziguinchor.
The positive and confidence the City Boys will take from beating the Senegalese FA Cup champions at their own backyard in Ziguinchor cannot be underestimated despite one may argue that the encounter was just a friendly but to score four goals and not concede against a formidable side like Casa Sports in a foreign country gives you special swagger and bragging rights.

Winger Kajally Drammeh opened the scoring after just four minutes into the encounter after an excellent team effort. Striker Mustapha Jallow drifted to the right where he collected a pass and spinned the ball to Modou Lamin Demba whose intelligent dummy set Kajally free at goal with the Gambia U-20 captain composed himself to take a touch before slotting it into the roof of the net.

Mustapha double the lead in the 48th minute after he rose the highest to head home Saikou Mansally’s fantastic delivery from a set-piece.
Our number 10 brought comfort for us in the 57th minute as his pressing upfront gave him a gift. Kajally ran to cut out a short pass with a tricky half turn and away from the Casa goalie to tap in a right-foot effort into an empty net.
The summer recruit from Young Africans, Adama Saidy put the icing on the cake in the 74th minute, as he hit the right corner of the Casa Sports goal from the spot, after another summer recruit from Greater Tomorrow and substitute Sereng Camara was fouled in the box.

The perfect result wouldn’t be without performers all around the pitch, most notably Foday Darboe, David Sambou and substitute Sereng Camara whose display at the centre of midfield, central defence, and wing-back was greeted by the audience and even his teammates.

The City Boys will host Casa Sports in the return match at the Live Your Dream Sports Academy complex in Basori on the 11th of November at 16:00GMT.
