Real partners with Slovak side FC Košice

Real de Banjul is pleased to announce that it has added Slovakian club FC Košice to its growing list of Club partners.
FC Košice, a club from the largest city in eastern Slovakia, currently plays in the 2. Liga, the second tier of Slovak football.
They add to the growing number of clubs to partner the City Boys with part of the partnership including the demonstration of the intention of both parties in the promotion of a mutual cooperation in the placement of players in Slovakia and youth football development.
“This is another barrier we have broken in our club history. Slovakia is a market that we have had our eyes on after we sold Alieu Fadera there and since then, we had approaches from clubs that wanted to work with us but we felt we share the same idea and values as FC Košice, so it was easy to partner with them,” Club President, William Abraham said.

“This partnership shows that as a Club, we are always looking to expand and enter into different markets and we are happy that Slovakia now joins the country list of our partner clubs.”
FC Košice are currently 5th on the Slovak second-tier league table and are in the semi-finals of the Slovak Cup after beating AS Trenčín 3-0 to set-up a semi-final date with MŠK Žilina.
FC Košice was founded in 2018 after they merged into one new club with FK Košice-Barca. They play their football at the 10,000-capacity Štadión Lokomotívy v Čermeli in Košice.
The partnership was facilitated by Gerald Valks of Bonbini Sport Consultancy.
