Real de Banjul is delighted to announce the signing of star twins Sainey and Sanna Ceesay on youth team contracts.

The talented teenagers, who both attend Kanifing East Senior Secondary School, possess brilliant football skills which led the Club’s Management to snap them up.

Sanna, who is a member of the Gambia U17, was voted Man of the Match in the Baby Scorpions’ 2-0 win over Mauritania in the 2021 WAFU A U-17 Cup of Nations in Senegal.

“I’m really pleased that Sainey and Sanna have both chosen to join us. They are both huge talents, have a lot of potential and as a Club, we will give them all the support they need and create the right environment for them,” the club’s 2nd Vice President, Bakary K. Jammeh, said to the family of the youngsters.

VP Jammeh added: “The fact that they’re both school-going boys makes it interesting for us as that is part of our goal as a Club to have players pursue football and school side by side.”

The guardian of the boys, who signed the contracts on their behalf, expressed delight and appreciation to the Club and its management for giving his sons the opportunity to excel and pursue their football careers.
